A MESSAGE FROM Tom's Fundraising Page
Hello all!
It has been a while since my last fund raising effort, probably prior to Covid.
Myself and Cooper Electric put a lot of thought into the charities that we support, making sure we choice the ones that make a difference.
This May I’m riding in the Five Boro Bike Tour with Cooper Electric, friends, Sonepar, vendors, rep partners and the Team Boomer—a 40 mile ride through NYC—to help raise money for the Boomer Esiason Foundation (BEF). BEF supports research, patient assistance, and programs that help improve quality of life for those living with cystic fibrosis.
I had the chance to meet Boomer Esiason (1988 NFL MVP, former Pro Bowl quarterback, and current WFAN talk show host) at a work event and learn more about the foundation and the mission behind it, while also learning more about Boomer himself as a person and the relentless efforts for this cause. Boomers documentary, “Second Wind: The Boomer and Gunnar Esiason Story,” is a great watch.
