Hi Friends and Family, Well, I'm at it again - running for Bo's Place in memory of my dad, Mark who died from brain cancer in February 2017.  Bo's Place has been a big part of my grief journey and I'm thankful for the free services they have provided to me. They offered a place to come together with other young adults who are experiencing the loss of a parent. It was a safe place to talk about my grief, draw upon memories and feel comfortable talking about death/cancer/difficult things. I am grateful for the kindness, love and support they have shown me and my family during this time. There is not a day that goes by where I don't think about my dad, his hugs, smiley face emojis and encouragement. Dad really got a kick out of me running this half marathon. During my first race, he called me literally as I crossed the finish line and was just telling me how proud he was of me for running that far and finishing a half marathon.  I'll do it again in his memory and honor.
