I am so excited to be a part of Team New York Marine Rescue Center for my first ever marathon!
The mission of the NYMRC is to rescue and care for stranded sea turtles and marine mammals around New York. It is the only marine rehabilitation center in New York and works year round to protect and save as many marine animals as they can. As an aspiring marine biologist, their mission and cause is very important to me, and I am thrilled to have found such an important charity to run for.
