Has someone in your life had a mental health issue or challenge? Was finding help simple? Was their condition easily recognized and diagnosed? Was that person concerned about what other people would think about their mental health condition? 50% of Americans will meet the criteria for a diagnosable mental health condition sometime in their life. So, if you haven't already known someone that has been impacted by a mental health challenge, the odds are very high you will. Mental Health America (MHA) works to address many of the challenges impacting people who are struggling with their mental health.
