A MESSAGE FROM Neda
Last November, we lost my Dad to Dementia.
Every year, in honor of his own Dad, my Dad would lace up his shoes and run from our front door all the way to the ocean and touch the water. He was a lifelong athlete who often said that running was the "father of all sports."
Next March, I’m stepping into his shoes to run the LA Marathon in his honor. I’ve committed to fundraising for The McCourt Foundation, an organization dedicated to curing neurological diseases and supporting the families they affect.
My Baba's annual run was his way of remembering. This 26.2-mile journey will be my way of honoring his strength and his discipline.
