A MESSAGE FROM Paul's First Marathon - In Support of the Mission of Our Lady of the Angels

Hey! My name is Paul Kramer and I'm running my first marathon at the 2026 Bank of America Chicago Marathon in support of the Mission of Our Lady of the Angels, a Catholic outreach mission in the West Humboldt Park neighborhood on Chicago's west side. They run a food pantry that serves hundreds of families a week, along with clothing distribution, youth tutoring, and programs for the local community.

I've been running for a few years and I've gone back and forth on whether I had a full marathon in me for a long time. Then, after a Sunday Mass, Fr. Bobby asked if I'd run for the Mission, and that settled it. I took it as a sign this one was meant to be.

So on October 11 I'll be running my first full marathon for Team OLA! Every dollar goes straight to the Mission and the work it does in the community.

Whatever you can give, thank you — from the encouragement as much as the support. I'll carry all of it with me from the start line to the finish line!
