A MESSAGE FROM Sean Sullivan
Thank you for your generous donation to the Epilepsy Foundation of NY!
When I was 12 years old, I experienced a grand mal seizure while at soccer practice. Later that day I was diagnosed with Juvenile Myoclonic Epilepsy. Fortunately, my condition is well regulated with medicine, which has allowed me to enjoy the privileges of a regular life. Others though, experience seizures more regularly with 1 in every 26 people being diagnosed with epilepsy during their life. I am running the 2024 TCS NYC Marathon to represent those - both friends and others - who have had their lives impacted in larger ways than I can understand.
