I’ve been a member of Gilda’s Club Westchester since 2005 when I was diagnosed with breast cancer. Gilda’s provided me with some much needed support. I joined a support group and attended many of their amazing workshops and classes. When I was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma in 2015, Gilda’s was there for me once again. Fast forward to June 2022 when I found out the NHL had relapsed. How lucky am I to always have Gilda’s Club Westchester to turn to? I currently attend a weekly support group and have met the most amazing group of people. Gilda’s Club Westchester is a non-profit organization that offers services to anyone impacted by cancer, including individuals diagnosed with cancer, their friends, families, and caregivers, and those who have lost a loved one to cancer – all free of charge. Gilda's programs are an essential complement to one’s medical care, providing support groups, individual counseling, educational workshops, healthy lifestyle classes, social activities, and community resources and referrals.
