The Junior League of the City of New York, Inc., is an organization of women whose Mission is to advance women’s leadership for meaningful community impact through volunteer action, collaboration, and training. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable.

The donations from the marathon allows the Junior League to provide hands-on programming and capacity building for our community partners, including but not limited to: 

• -Running over 30 years of our Playground Improvement Project (PIP) which creates safe, beautiful, well organized, educational play spaces for children and other members of the New York City community,

• -Offering advocacy, emotional support, and information to survivors of intimate partner violence and sexual assault during their stay in the ER. 

These, and countless other programs, are the reasons I am a part of the NYJL. Please support me in supporting New York Junior League.
