A MESSAGE FROM Anne for Bronx River Alliance
Despite what many people assume, the greenest borough in NYC is the Bronx! The Bronx River Alliance's goal is to protect, improve, and restore the Bronx River corridor. They advocate for equitable restoration of the Bronx River corridor, coordinate construction of the Bronx River greenway, use the river as an outdoor classroom for students in their home borough, and engage the community to ensure that Bronx voices remain the leaders in reclaiming the Bronx River.
I am super excited to be fundraising for the Bronx River Alliance. Judging from my Strava, I have put in 1,750 miles on the greenways while training for my past two marathons. I am excited to be able to give back to an organization that has made the Bronx so fun to run.
