It's that time again! On March 8, 2026 I will be running the 2026 LA Marathon to raise money for Reading to Kids. RTK is a nonprofit organization that promotes literacy for K-5 grade levels at several public schools throughout the Downtown LA area by holding monthly reading clubs for students conducted by volunteers.
Despite moving out of the LA area and not being able to volunteer at reading clubs anymore, I am still very passionate about this cause. That is why I will quite literally be putting my feet to pavement to raise money for RTK. 100% of proceeds will be used to not only supply materials for the reading clubs, they will also be used to provide every participating student a free book for their grade level! There are no shortage of students that come from families in need, so providing them with books to build their own personal libraries is invaluable.
This will be my 10th full marathon and I would love to compliment this milestone with a successful fundraiser. As always, all forms of support and encouragement are greatly appreciated and I'm looking forward to another year running and raising money for RTK!
