A MESSAGE FROM Alli LaRochelle's Fundraising Page for Annapolis Frogman Swim
As you know, every year I try to take on a challenge that’s meaningful, and this year is no different. On Sunday, April 26th, I’ll once again be joining 65 swimmers, Gold Star Families, and Navy SEALs for the Annapolis Frogman Swim, an event that benefits the Navy SEAL Foundation.
As many of you know, we have special ties to the Navy SEAL community and the US Naval Academy, so this cause is really close to our hearts.
The 5K swim in April will take place in the Chesapeake Bay, where the water temperature is typically in the 50's this time of year. It's a special type of challenge that primarily serves a way to honor the courage and sacrifice of the special warfare community and their families.
Every dollar raised goes directly to the Navy SEAL Foundation, supporting veterans and families. My goal this year is $50,000, and any contribution, big or small, is greatly appreciated, is tax deductible and makes a real difference.
