A MESSAGE FROM Run for ALS - In memory of Shelley Garner
Maggie is running the Chevron Houston Marathon in memory of Shelley Garner, a strong and wonderful Meemaw, mother-in-law, and friend who passed away in 2021 due to ALS. Shelley's vibrant spirit and loving presence are deeply missed by all who knew her. Witnessing the devastating impact that ALS had on Shelley and her family profoundly affected Maggie, making this cause incredibly personal for her. This marathon marks Maggie's first, and she is filled with excitement and determination to run it in support of the ALS Association, honoring Shelley's memory and helping to combat this relentless disease.
By contributing to Maggie's charity fundraiser, you can help make a significant difference in the fight against ALS. The funds raised will directly support the ALS Association's efforts to research new treatments and work towards finding a cure for this disease. Every donation, no matter the size, brings us one step closer. Thank you so much for your generosity and support, and for your help honoring Shelley's memory and bringing hope to others affected by ALS.
