The Iris Fund plays an increasingly important role in funding research to protect babies, and mothers, from pre-term labor.  Its founder, Brittney Crystal, has been a dear friend since middle school.  I watched her translate the grief of losing her daughter, Iris, into an amazing organization that funds impactful women's health research across the U.S.   I've run the NYC Marathon twice wearing the The Iris Fund logo, and this summer look forward to getting destroyed in the Alps on a bike.   With science funding in a precarious position, your support means more than ever before.
