Since moving to NYC last fall, I've wanted to get involved in the local community. I decided to combine my love for running with supporting a charity that aligns with my values. I will be running the 2023 UNITED AIRLINES NYC HALF for Girls Inc. of NYC.
As a woman in technology, I love that this organization provides opportunities for young girls to acclimate with STEM education and career readiness.
WHY GIRLS INC NYC?
Girls Inc. of NYC is an organization that makes a big impact in the NYC community by working with highly trained professionals to deliver research-based curricula on a wide range of topics including financial literacy, STEM education, career readiness, and physical and emotional health in a supportive all-girls environment to over 8,500 NYC K-12 girls.
