A MESSAGE FROM Doug's Grand Canyon Brain Cancer fundraiser
Once again, I'm joining forces with 3000 Miles to a Cure to raise desperately needed funds for brain cancer research. On October 6, 2025 I will join a small team of brain cancer warriors to hike the Grand Canyon. 

This year, the path is different. The Dragon Bravo fire has closed the North Rim, but the team will not be deterred. We are taking an alternate but equally strenuous route hiking 22.4 miles in a single day.  Our commitment to this cause is more powerful than any obstacle.

I am a cancer survivor myself. I was diagnosed with kidney cancer at age 4; the prognosis was that I had one year to live. A newly discovered treatment saved my life. I am proof that cancer research works!

The goal is to push past the one million dollar fundraising milestone this year. Your generous donation will honor the memory of those who have been lost and fuel the fight for those still battling. Please join me in the race to #beatbraincancer
