This October, I’m running my first marathon — the Chicago Marathon, and I’m both super excited and a little nervous. What’s really motivating me through the training, though, is the chance to support an incredible cause called Culinary Care.
If you know me, you know how much I love the world of hospitality. That’s why I chose Culinary Care, as their mission really hit home for me. They provide nourishing meals and a sense of community to people going through cancer treatment, at a time when both can be hard to come by.
Cancer has touched so many of our lives, and it’s heartbreaking to learn that 1 in 5 cancer deaths are linked to malnutrition. Even more staggering: isolation can reduce survival rates by up to 25%. Culinary Care steps in to change that - one meal, one connection at a time.
I’ve set a goal to raise $10,000, which would provide a full year of meals for ten families. Every donation, no matter the size, truly makes a difference. If you’re able to support, I’d be so grateful. And if you just want to cheer me on from the sidelines, that means the world to me too.

Thanks for being part of this journey with me. 💛
