I am thrilled to participate in the 2024 TCS New York City Marathon as a Point of Pride charity team member. As a trans woman who struggles to receive proper medical treatment and support, this organization holds a special place in my heart, and I am honored to dedicate my marathon experience to supporting its cause through fundraising.Point of Pride's mission is to help trans and gender diverse youth and adults access necessary, life-saving health and wellness services. They do this work by providing financial aid to recipients seeking surgery, permanent hair removal, hormone replacement therapy, and donating garments such as chest binders and femme shapewear. To date, the organization has awarded $1,049,000+ in aid and donated 19,500+ garments to recipients in all 50 states and 120+ countries.The vast majority of recipients are trans youth, folks living with disabilities/chronic illness, and folks living in rural/unaffirming regions.Thank you for supporting my journey and this incredible organization!  Lyla
