Welcome to my fundraising page! I am running the 2022 TCS New York City Marathon and fundraising to support the Alzheimer's Drug Discovery Foundation (ADDF). No donation is too small, and any amount donated is greatly appreciated!
The ADDF has been leading the way in Alzheimer’s research since its founding in 1998. The mission of the ADDF is to rapidly accelerate the discovery of drugs to prevent, treat, and cure Alzheimer's disease. 100% of every dollar donated to the ADDF goes directly to supporting research into new treatments for this devastating disease. To date, the ADDF has invested more than $209 million to fund over 690 drug research programs at academic centers and biotechnology companies in 19 countries.
Too many people, myself included, have seen the devastating and deathly impacts of Alzheimer's disease. I am running in honor of my grandmother, Judith Seidner, who bravely battled this horrible disease for years and in honor of my grandmother, Myrna Rubin, who is currently battling this disease with incredible poise, grace, and positivity. I am also running in honor of all of the other individuals currently battling this disease and in honor of all of their families, friends, and caregivers.
