Running marathons is my passion. I am so committed to running that on November 3, I will complete my third New York Marathon -- and 44th overall. I’m also passionate about running to raise money for cancer research. My sister Mia is a 10-year survivor of lung cancer who benefited from advances in medical treatment that saved her life, and now she inspires me to lace up my running shoes and train every day.
I want others
who are struggling with cancer to have the same life-saving treatment that Mia
did. That’s why I am thrilled to be supporting the Expect Miracles Foundation,
an organization that invests in cancer research while advancing the
financial and emotional health of people impacted by cancer. Please join me in
supporting this important foundation as I make the 26.2-mile journey through
the five boroughs of New York this fall. No amount is too small, and together we
can continue the fight.
