Support The Assist! I’m running the 2026 Bank of America Chicago Marathon to help create safer sports through The Athlete Survivors’ Assist (The Assist) — a survivor-led nonprofit working to end sexual violence in athletics. The Assist provides crucial peer support for survivors, delivers education and trauma-informed training to teams and organizations, and advocates for stronger protections and accountability across all levels of sport. Your donation directly supports this mission and helps ensure every athlete can compete safely and confidently. Thank you so much for your support — together, we’re changing the game! 💙
I am so excited to run this marathon! After moving to the city this past year, I volunteered as a mental health provider at the 2025 Chicago marathon, and now I’m excited to experience it from a new perspective as a runner.
Supporting this organization feels especially meaningful to me as a former college cross country and track athlete and as a social worker. I especially enjoy supporting athletes in my work as a therapist, and I’m excited for the opportunity to also contribute through fundraising.
