A MESSAGE FROM Alexa Paladino – NYC Marathon for the ADDF
This coming November, I am very excited to run the NYC Marathon!!
I'll be running in support of the Alzheimer's Drug Discovery Foundation and its mission of developing drugs to prevent, treat, and cure Alzheimer's disease. I'm running for Team ADDF in honor of my grandma, Kate Zeitler, who fought a battle against dementia that sadly took her life within a year of her diagnosis. My grandma always maintained her quick wit and positive spirit during this immensely difficult disease. If she were still here today, I know she would say that the NYC marathon is "pretty jazzy."
Donations to the team directly support scientific research into new treatments for Alzheimer's disease. 100% of every dollar donated to the ADDF funds these research programs. The ADDF's leadership and contributions to the field have played a pivotal role in bringing the first Alzheimer's PET scan and blood test to market. The ADDF has awarded over $290 million to fund more than 750 Alzheimer's drug discovery programs, biomarker programs, and clinical trials in 20 countries.
Thank you so much for your support!!! I greatly appreciate any donation and hope to see you on November 3rd, 2024!
