On November 6th I’m running the New York City Marathon.
As a condition of running the NYC Marathon runners are asked to race on behalf of a charitable organization.
I have chosen to run on behalf of “The Pat Tillman Foundation” and committed to raising $3,500 on its behalf.
I have been a huge Pat Tillman fan all my life and have watched his NFL Films biography multiple times. Pat Tillman was passionate and kicked ass in EVERY aspect of his life, including the classroom and the football field, and he even ran a Marathon. Unfortunately, Pat died an untimely death in Afghanistan following his passion.
Tillman’s Foundation financially supports military service members, veterans and spouses, empowering them with academic scholarships and leadership opportunities.
I’m proud to carry on Pat Tillman’s legacy by running the NYC Marathon on behalf of his Foundation.
Please consider donating using the link above – No contribution is too small - $5, $10, $25 or more will make a difference and directly impact the lives of Tillman Scholars and their communities nationwide.
