A MESSAGE FROM Alex's Fundraising Page : Help the Cause!
Hello everyone!
On may 8th (mother’s day) I will be running the “Every Mother Counts” 5k run at Prospect Park (BKLYN:NYC).
In the US, the maternal morality rate is 23.8 deaths out of 100,000 births. This run helps prevent this proportion of mother’s from dying giving birth by raising awareness and money. My school has encouraged us to do so as community service, so I wanted to join and help out. Although, I can’t do this alone. My ultimate goal is to raise $500 before the run.
