I would urge every single person that I know (and those who know me have already heard this pitch) to get involved with Reading To Kids, that is how important I think the mission is...so important that I am running a marathon in support! Last year's half marathon (raising money for another amazing charity Team World Vision) was just not enough for me - so I am back again for the FULL Marathon this time (send prayers and good thoughts....and donate money please). For those of you who know about Reading To Kids...just click on Donate and be done with it :) For everyone else - the charity is exactly what the name entails, spreading literacy and the love of books and reading to elementary school kids in the LAUSD. We all know that readers are leaders, and the RTK efforts are not possible without generous donors.
