My wife, Emily, and I ran the Houston Half for 27 girls in January (my first time running anything...EVER).  My three daughters ran the Houston 5k in honor of the girls they knew.  Many of my business partners, colleagues and their spouses joined Team27, without hesitation, and ran the 5k with my girls.  I felt called again and ran the Austin half Feb 15 for the Austin girls.  We had fun!  

Well...here I am again...asking for support of my half marathon run for the San Antonio Run the Alamo.  We are running for Kellyanne, Molly and Greta and all Heaven's 27 girls.   

I'm still NOT a runner. I am, however, a father of four blessings.  I feel called, again, to run San Antonio and continue carrying, in honor, 27 names with me as I run.  

My two middle daughters, Ella, Nora, and I are going to run the Alamo Donut Dash 5k Saturday.  My buddy, Jack and his son Connor, are going to run the Run the Alamo Half with me Sunday.  Their donor page is here: https://fundraisers.hakuapp.com/jack-stivers 

On July 4, 2025, twenty seven girls lost their lives in the floods at Camp Mystic. Each was unique, yet all were remembered for their kindness, generosity, and the way they lifted others with love and joy. To carry that spirit forward, their families created Heaven’s 27 Foundation.
