As many of you are aware, I have an Autism
Spectrum Disorder. This condition has served as a challenge and an inspiration and
ultimately has made me the person that I am today. This complex neurological and
developmental condition currently affects 1 in 68 individuals in this country
alone, with many of them not realizing their full potential. There is still a
lot that needs to be done whether it is helping people with ASDs or research to
help future generations of people affected by ASDs.
Because of the impact that having an ASD has had on my life, I want to support others with similar challenges. On May 19, 2018, I will participate in the 50 mile bike ride for the Eagles Autism Challenge with the entire Philadelphia Eagles organization and thousands of Philadelphia area residents who will ride, run or walk to raise funds for innovative autism research and programs. The Eagles Autism Challenge donates 100% of participant-raised funds to area Autism centers at CHOP and TJUH.
If you want to support my efforts to
help others like me, you can donate to my team at the link above. Any amount
would be appreciated.
