A MESSAGE FROM The Road to Chi-Town
Running has become a huge part of my life. I may not be the fastest or the best but it has helped me in more ways I could have ever imagined. Most importantly it’s been a HUGE stress reliever and an outlet for said stress especially with my work as an Vulnerable Adult Protective Services investigator. Which brings me to the charity I am fundraising for for next years Chicago Marathon which also happens to be on my birthday! CDEL (Center for Disability and Elder Law) is an agency that assists the most vulnerable and impoverished with pro-bono legal fees. They particularly assist with guardianships which is a HUGE financial barrier on families.
So help me make my goal! What a way to ring in a birthday, a full stinkin’ marathon!
