I'm thrilled to share that I will run my very first marathon in 2024 in a city that mean so much to me. Even better, I will be running with an incredible organization called Culinary Care. I'm raising funds for Culinary Care so families fighting cancer don't have to worry about food. Your donation will ensure that families who are fighting cancer have one less thing to worry about as they navigate treatment. Any donation, no matter how big or small, will make a profound impact on the lives of families affected by cancer.
Running a marathon has been a life-long dream of mine as I seek to add to the ever-growing narrative that people with cerebral palsy can do extraordinary things. From a young age, I was diagnosed with mild cerebral palsy and was always told how difficult running a marathon would be and may not ever be something I could achieve. After having run several half marathons, in 2024, I am seeking to change this narrative by training and running my very first marathon, and I can't wait to share this journey with you.
