A MESSAGE FROM Support Kara's 2026 Frogman Swims - Fundraiser for the Navy Seal Foundation!
The Goal
In 2026, my goal is to be the first person to complete all three—possibly
four—Frogman Series Swims without a wetsuit in support of the
Navy
SEAL Foundation. Each event will push me to my limits, but it’s
nothing compared to the sacrifices our Naval Special Warfare community makes in
defense of our nation.
My fundraising goal is $2,500 per swim—a total of up to $10,000—all
benefiting the Navy SEAL Foundation.
The Swims
January
– Tampa Bay Frogman Swim
3.5 miles across Tampa Bay as part of Team Cry Havoc
April –
Annapolis Frogman Swim
A challenging 3.1-mile course in the frigid waters of the Chesapeake Bay.
June –
Boston Frogman Swim
3.5 miles through Boston Harbor’s swift currents and cold waters.
November
– Charleston Frogman Swim (if all goes well)
Another 4.1 miles test of grit in waters just above 55 degrees.
Each of these swims covers 3–4 miles in water temperatures expected to be below 60°F,
conditions that demand intense training and mental toughness. As part of Team Cry Havoc, I'll be swimming in memory of SO1 Patrick Feeks & SOC Chris Chambers.
Why I’m Swimming
The Frogman Swim Series began in Tampa Bay to support one severely injured
Navy SEAL. Today, it has grown into a series of events across the country,
raising millions for the Navy SEAL Foundation (NSF).
The Navy SEAL Foundation provides immediate and ongoing support to
SEALs, Special Warfare Combatant-Craft Crewmen (SWCC), veterans, and their
families. From warrior transition assistance and Gold Star
Family support to educational programs and resilience
services, the NSF ensures that no member of this community is
ever left behind.
Consistently ranked a top four-star charity by Charity Navigator,
the Foundation is one of the most trusted ways you can directly support those
who have given so much.
