Team Marcela was created in honor of the late Marcela Bautista who passed away from ovarian cancer on June 3, 2007.

Marcela was the matriarch of her family; a wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Up until the very end, she made sure to always put a smile on someone's face with a witty comment or offer words of wisdom. 

Her children, along with her family and friends would like to raise awareness to this disease.
