A MESSAGE FROM Ryan's Fundraising Page
This October, I’ll be running the Chicago Marathon in honor of my mother-in-law, Ellen, who passed away from breast cancer last year. The strength and determination she demonstrated inspired me to run and raise money to help others who face the same journey.
Running 26.2 miles, and raising money to help others with this disease, is my way of honoring her legacy.
I’m honored to be running as part of Team Sharsheret, a national organization that supports women and families facing breast and ovarian cancer. Sharsheret provides personalized support, genetic counseling, education, and vital resources to those impacted by these diseases.
Any support you’re able to offer is deeply appreciated. Every donation helps Sharsheret continue making a meaningful difference in the lives of those affected by or predisposed to cancer.
Ben Walker, my brother-in-law, is also running the Chicago Marathon in Ellen’s honor. If you’d like to support his fundraising page as well, you can find his link here.
