I have chose to Run for a Reason in  the 2025 Chevron Houston Marathon/Aramco Half Marathon! I am excited to have selected Ronald McDonald House Charities Greater Houston as my reason to run. As a pediatric CVIMU nurse in the Texas medical center I have witnessed the help Ronald McDonald House has provided for the families we care for. To further their mission of creating a home away from home for families receiving care in the Texas Medical Center, I am helping raise awareness and funds. Your donation, no matter the size will support the House in their efforts to provide wrap around services to families facing a pediatric medical crisis. Your gift helps support some of these amazing programs:70 Bedroom Holcombe House, with program activities, a school room, kitchen spaces, laundry facilities, a playground, social workers, and a shuttle to and from the Texas Medical Center.19 Bedroom House inside Texas Children's Hospital and 10 Family Lounges where families can grab snacks, packaged meals, and have a quite place outside of the hospital room.20 Bedroom House inside Children's Memorial Hermann and 4 Family Lounges, open 24 hours, where families can grab snacks, packaged meals, and have a quite place outside of the hospital room.2 Bedroom House inside MD Anderson Children's Cancer Hospital and a Family Lounge. Ronald McDonald Care Mobile, providing a fully equipped medical clinic on wheels that delivers free care directly to underserved, school-aged children, right in their own neighborhoods.
