A MESSAGE FROM Danny
Please support my fundraising efforts for the 2022 Bank of America Chicago Marathon in which I will be running for the Golden Apple Foundation! Currently in Illinois there is a shortage of high quality teachers with more than 1,900 unfilled teaching positions. The Golden Apple Foundation is focused on recruiting high school seniors through sophomores in college, from communities in which they will likely return to serve, as highly effective teachers in schools-of-need.
Teachers have had a major impact in my life to say the least. Not only did they shape who I am today but they continue to do so. I know how difficult teaching can be at times, having a fiancé and many friends who are teachers. With the recent pandemic, teachers’ jobs have only become more difficult, and finding highly effective teachers is becoming harder and harder.
