Hi! I'm excited to share that I will be graduating from lifelong marathon spectator to runner and will be participating in the Chicago Marathon this October. I couldn't be more excited (and a little bit nervous!) What makes this experience even more special is that I will be running alongside my amazing dad, sister, and husband. This will be my first marathon, and I am grateful to have my marathon veteran family members by my side.
I am running to raise funds for an incredible organization called Bottom Line. Bottom Line works in NYC, Chicago and other urban areas across the country to support diverse, low-income and first generation students with college access and readiness. Higher education access and opportunity has been an important cause to me since beginning my own higher education journey studying public policy, and I have chosen to support Bottom Line because of their proven approach and committment to helping students beyond just the college application process. They work hand and hand with students to apply, navigate financial aid and selection of a high value and affordable choice, and provide ongoing guidance and support through graduation.
I am proud to be one of six runners on the Bottom Line team, and I truly believe in their mission. Your support will not only help me achieve my marathon goal but also make a meaningful impact on the lives of deserving students.
Thank you so much for considering a donation - no amount is too small!
