Hey guys!
In 2023, I had the last-minute chance to run the Boston Marathon as a charity runner. This accomplished two things - it started my journey to 6 stars, and it solidified my passion for participating as a charity runner.
After that race, I made the decision to forego the lotteries and run all 6 Abbott World Majors for charity.
Growing up as a millennial in suburban Phoenix, the daughter of two Sun Devil alumni, Pat Tillman was an athlete I greatly admired from early on. That admiration grew exponentially when he left his successful NFL career to join the United States Army Special Forces during the war in Iraq and Afghanistan, and was permanently solidified when he did not return home.
I could not be prouder to be running the 2025 Chicago Marathon on Team Tillman. All donations toward my fundraising commitment to the Tillman Foundation will directly impact the lives of Tillman Scholars and their communities across America.
The Pat Tillman Foundation supports service members, veterans and military spouses by providing academic scholarships (Tillman Scholars).
