In 2023, my mom was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease. It’s one of those things you never expect to hit so close to home, and since then, it's been a lot to take in. Watching her adjust to this new reality has been tough, but she’s handled it with more strength than I can even put into words. That’s why I’m running a 5K - for her. This run isn’t just about crossing the finish line. It’s about doing something that feels active and hopeful. I’m raising money to support research and treatment for Parkinson’s, because there’s still so much we don’t know, and better options are desperately needed - for my mom, and for many others.
