I participated in last year's walk. The thing that hit me really hard was that I was the ONLY survivor that was in attendance - That was really emotional for me, as others in attendance were walking in memory of a loved one. I was diagnosed with low grade serous carcinoma in 2021. At this point I have been a participant in a clinical trial and have been cancer free according to my oncologist and scan & test results.
