As many of you know, my husband Mike was diagnosed with Epilepsy over twenty years ago. There is no known cause for his diagnosis, no telling when a terrible seizure episode will strike and no known cure for it. Thankfully, he has a great doctor who has figured out a medication regimen that is currently working to keep his seizures at bay, we are almost ONE YEAR SEIZURE FREE!! While we are grateful to be seizure free, these medications come with a long list of side effects that create their own challenges for Mike, our family and everyone living with epilepsy and their loved ones.
