When I first met Kristen, I was coming down to Houston, TX to met Jacob's family for the first time and we spent the night kicking Jacob's and his dad's butts at pictionary. I knew then that she would become one of the most influential and special people in my life. One, because she saw the world in a similar way as I did, and two, she enjoyed kicking their butts in board games. Over the (almost) 5 years of being part of the Nadeau family, Kristen has always made me feel loved, heard and included and I have so much admiration for her strength and courage. I have only grown to be the woman I am today because of having her as another incredible role model in my life. I am so lucky to have her as a second mom and I am so proud of her fight.
