A MESSAGE FROM Amy Eckardt
Great Lakes Adaptive Sports Association's motto is: "Let NO ONE Sit on the SIDELINES". I chose to join Team GLASA for the 2023 Bank of America Chicago Marathon. GLASA provides year-round adaptive sports and wellness programs, including providing all sports equipment needed to participate. I have had the amazing opportunity to volunteer with a similar organization through my physical therapy program in St. Louis and am looking forward to getting involved with GLASA now that I am in Chicago! Team GLASA charity runners are dedicated to train, run 26.2 miles, and raise money to support and empower youth, adults and veterans with a physical or visual disability.
