A MESSAGE FROM Brigit
Running the New York City Marathon has been a goal of mine since the day I watched my mom, Sara Gardner, cross her 20th marathon finish line. So it feels fitting to be given the opportunity to run my first marathon on behalf of FPHNY, where my mom has worked as the Executive Director for almost 14 years.
I have always believed in prioritizing a healthy lifestyle and that good health is foundational to a quality life. FPHNY's vision of launching new public health initiatives that advance the health of all New Yorkers aligns directly with my personal values.
