Hello Friends, Family, and Potential Donors!

Thank you so much for taking the time to check out my fundraising page for Lupus Research Alliance! I am so excited to be running in the 2024 TCS New York City Marathon as a member of the Team Life Without Lupus. In addition to training for a 26.2-mile race, I am also working hard to raise money for the Lupus Research Alliance.

This charity holds a special place in my heart not only because it is a great organization but because a dear family member deals with this chronic disease. Lupus is a silent yet painful disease that attacks one’s autoimmune system. She was diagnosed with lupus over fifteen years ago, and I have witnessed her strength and grace in fighting this disease. I am eager to support her in this battle by fundraising for research that will support treatments and cures for this complex autoimmune disease through my participation in the 2024 TCS New York City Marathon and fundraiser for the Lupus Research Alliance.

Lupus is a chronic and complex autoimmune disease. It can affect any part of the body causing widespread inflammation and tissue damage in the affected organ. The most common impacted areas are the joints, skin, brain, lungs, kidneys, and blood vessels.

Funds raised for the 2024 TCS New York City Marathon from pages like this one will support the Lupus Research Alliance’s mission: to find better treatments, and to prevent and ultimately cure this devastating autoimmune disease. 100% of your donation will go directly to support lupus research as all other administrative and fundraising costs are supported by the Alliance’s Board of Directors.
