After losing my lovely Lola Enrica (grandmother) this past July, I have found inspiration to run in honor of what she loved: education. Growing up, she always told me stories of her being a principal and how education was the greatest gift she could give her family. I will be running to celebrate her life and for the 250 million children in the world that lack basic learning skills.
PoP is a for-purpose nonprofit based in NYC that fundraises to build school systems in developing countries.
Did you know $75 provides access to education for one student for a year? Or that $25 provides toothpaste for students in one school? Any contribution is going to help the 250 million children that lack basic education and my cause to run in honor of my grandmother.
