For those who may not know my story, I was diagnosed in November 2022 at the age of 38 with stage 2 breast cancer. To say my journey has been A LOT would be an understatement.. but here I am a year and a half out of treatment, clear scans, and a whole life ahead of me. My journey continues with preventative medicines, doctors appointments, and scans, that get exhausting at times, but every day I remind myself how thankful I am for another day❤️. My diagnosis was something I couldn't change, but raising funds and awareness is something I can do for this amazing group of fighters and survivors that I found myself living amongst. The road was difficult for sure, and the challenges continue even after active treatments but the more awareness and funds we raise for the cause the easier it will be for others who cross this path in the future.
