A MESSAGE FROM Marj's NYC Marathon Fundraising Page - Benefitting Nyaka
Hello Everyone! 

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. As many of you know, my family is from Southwestern Uganda and I am always looking for opportunities to give back to that region. Over the past few years I have had the honor of giving back through donations to Nyaka. 

Nyaka provides community-based solutions to address the needs of orphaned and vulnerable children in rural southwestern Uganda. The organization surrounds each child with a comprehensive support system. This is comprised of interrelated programs developed and led by our community, where children are nurtured and protected so they can learn, grow, and thrive. As a munyakigezi, I am so blessed to be able to support an organization like Nyaka, that is working tirelessly to nurture our children!
