Please support my fundraising efforts for the 2022 TCS New York City Marathon. No donation is too small!
I am raising money for and will be running on behalf of You Gotta Believe, an organization that specializes in finding permanent families for young adults, teens, and pre-teens in foster care. Donations will go toward a range of services including family finding, addressing youth trauma, parent training, long-term support services, and certifying and licensing parents.
The Jim Casey Youth Opportunities Initiative reports that youth who are adopted from foster care are: 1) 50% more likely to attend college; 2) 50% less likely to be arrested; 3) 47% less likely to become homeless; 4) 24% less likely to be unemployed; and 5) 23% more likely to graduate from high school.
