A MESSAGE FROM Charley Magrew's 2023 NYC Marathon Fundraiser benefitting City Parks Foundation
Hi! My name is Charley Magrew. I ran my first TCS New York City Marathon in 2019 as a way to support and encourage my beloved sister Hallie as she navigated a series of medical challenges. I ran again in 2020 (digital) and in 2021 (50th running), both in her loving memory. With Hallie and my family in my heart, I will run 26.2 once again in 2023. This year, I will pair this endeavor with a fundraising campaign for an organization I've grown closely to while living in New York, both personally and professionally: City Parks Foundation, the non-profit organization behind SummerStage in Central Park. After several years of producing events at SummerStage, and now serving on the Arts Committee of City Parks Foundation, I've seen first-hand the incredible impact that accessible music and arts programming can have on the community. I am proud to support CPF as I run the five boroughs of this incredible city on November 5, 2023, and I invite you to join me in supporting this organization.
