Hi friends! Exciting news - I’m running my second marathon this fall, the 2026 Bank of America Chicago Marathon, and I’m running with The Assist! The Assist is a survivor-led nonprofit working to end sexual violence in athletics. The work this organization does is deeply meaningful and personal to me. As a college athlete and survivor of sexual violence crimes, I know how rare it is for justice to be served. The Assist advocates for survivors and helps to deliver them trauma-informed support. They are the only national organization led by survivors working to protect athletes, and they make a difference by advocating for policy changes and creating safer environments.
