About me - I grew up in California watching my dad run marathons in the Redwoods with Nate and my mom. Even then, I absolutely loved the experience and knew I'd want to follow my dad's footsteps and complete one in my lifetime. Cut to a few years later, a cross-country move, and two years of experiencing the magic of the New York City Marathon. In 2024 I am lucky enough to have the chance to check this milestone off my bucket list and raise money for a cause I'm excited for us all to support.
Why City Parks Foundation - I'm thrilled to be able to raise money for an independent, nonprofit organization whose mission is to offer programs in public parks. Throughout the five boroughs of New York City, CPF supports New Yorkers through sports, arts, music, community building and educational programs. A great way for new transplants to connect to a new city and new community.
Company Matches - Donors should submit any company match directly to City Parks Foundation, Inc. through their company platform with my name (Alex Glab!) listed as the designation and a reference to the 2024 TCS NYC Marathon.
